Are the 4/3 and 4/4s the same price? How do I know which ones they are? most sites dont list those numbers in the description.

No the 4/4 are more $.
Ya I think the 4/4 & 4/3 is a Strano reference I think so don't quote me on that. 4/3 was for 3rd gen cars, 4/4 is for 4th gen but you can use both on our 4th gen camaro's. Like I said and others that the price diff is that the 4/4 version has on car adjustments capabilities where the 4/3 version the shocks must be removed to make adjustment.

Note: if you order or ordered from Sam Strano he will give you support on the 4/3 settings based on what you want out of the car so you don't have to keep taking them off the car or just pony up the extra $$ for the 4/4. The key to it all is order from Sam so you can get the support you need, he doesn't just hand out support for free.

OK I went to stranos site and am confused one more time.

Heres what is called 4/4 it says :

Koni 4/4 Set Koni Sport Shock Set w/On-Car Single Adjustable Rears--ON SALE + Free shipping

Is this for ALL 4 shocks??? Are the fronts on car adjustable??

There is a different part number but the same description for these:
8241-1139 Sport Koni Single Adjustable Sport--front shock *on sale* 30-1265 Sport Koni Optional Single Adjustable Sport --Rear shock

Both of these descriptions say 'On car' but 4/4 nowhere to be found. When I add up those prices for 2 front and 2 rear i get close to $850 or so.

$850 sounds about right..and that's a sale price + free shipping. Most of the time you're looking at close to 1k with shipping for the Koni 4/4 & yes that's for all four. So do yourself a favor and jump on the deal. I checked out his site and you can order fronts and rear seperatly using the #'s below or he has it listed so you can purchase them as a set for $850 + free shipping for the 4/4. It's listed as Koni 4/4 Set...$850 this will get you all 4.

    Edit: part# 8241-1139 Front Koni's
part# 8241-1140 Rear Koni's I took these #'s right off my invoice from Strano.
Looks like you'll be saving about 100 to 120 bucks

The front shocks once mounted have side windows where you make the adj. The adjustments are called sweeps. The shocks come from the factory at full soft btw.

The rears are diff & have an exposed tab at the top of the shock and once mounted you use a supplied knob to place over it with a -/+ on the knob and turn it left or right.

    Hope that helps.

+1 on Sams Support, he's helped me dial in my car to perform the best for what I use it for. (autox mainly) I have the 4/4's and can adjust all four while on the car, but the front is much more difficult than the rear. I have Strano springs on mine, and They are set, Front 2 clicks from full firm, and the rear is full soft. I'm also sitting on the lower perch up front. It's a whole different car with just a shock change. Keep adding bars, firmer bushings, and PHR bars and it only gets better!

It is not on any lowered springs. If you do this, you will shorten the life of your very expensive Koni front shocks and it will not give any suspension travel at all on the front.
