here you go. this thread has most of the info you need

    http://www.ls1.com/forums/f63/how-do...intake-126647/

While doing this I would update the knock sensors while you have the intake off.

You can kill the egr & air pump stuff and block off the egr plates on the headers. A mail order tune from Frost will take care of any codes from this.

Intake swaps are easy enough to do. Just be careful when the intake is off to not drop anything in the heads or you'll be fishing or pulling heads.

A couple of areas to pay attention too:

    1) OPSU sits just behind the drivers side of the intake. Many ppl on their first time removing the intake forget about it and break it, usually with the break booster hose. Just move the hose around it carefully and you should be fine. Once you are back together if you have no oil pressure this is what you'll need to replace. Cost about $58 and the $10 socket is worth it.

    2) HVAC tubing comes off the back of the intake near the map sensor. It is a PITA to attach it back on but it is need in order to use your HVAC system. Just don't forget about it.

also forgot to add the fins on the bottom of the ls6 intake will have some issues with the ls1 coolant bypass lines. you can knock them off or get the ls6 coolant kit.
