LS6 intake on 02 WS6??? 99 vs. 02
Alright i have a 02 WS6 that is all stock but i have been told by alot of people that 02 LS1s came with LS6 intakes just curious if thats true. Also my brother has a 99 WS6 stock and my father says my car is faster. We have never raced and we both have stock LS1 automatics can anyone tell me what the difference would be between a 99 and 02 WS6 because we both around the same mileage the same engine same built tranny and the same rear and 3.23s. So im not to sure what makes my car feel so much faster to my dad. I couldnt tell if they were different but ive only driven his car once or twice not really pushing it. Anyway thanks for the help

01-02 receive ls-6 intake. Could be previous owner took care of one car better than the other. Could also be the time in which the car was built, once a month they would recalibrate the machines which constructed the cars. There have been stock cars running 12.8's-it's awful talking to a lady in her 40's and she has friends and the slip to prove it-no radials. Only one way to find out though

2000 Grand Prix GTP- 2000 Trans Am WS6 M6
The 01-02s had a slightly smaller cam to compensate for the added hp of the LS6 intake, so in theory, all have 350hp from the factory, but like c5z28 said, there are a lot of variables.

Quick Silver- 2002 Z06
Yeah I would vote it had to do with the original owners or time of month like said above.
You will just have to line up and let us know who wins
