Exaust question
Ok So I have a hooker catback hooked up to cats and stock manifolds. I won't be buying headers in the forseen future so could someone give me an idea if it will still sound good if I remove or gut the cats? It has a nice tone now but is a little quiet for my taste.

it will get louder if you gut the cats but it wont sound bad. i wouldnt remove the cats and get an ORY however until you have enough money to buy headers as well. no sense doing it twice

i agree with basballny2, but if you plan on never putting headers on, go for it.

That sounds good to me guys, I will try to gut them. Are they usually welded in or just bolted on both sides? Pretty easy to remove? They were replaced under warranty only about 6 months ago so I doubt the bolts are too seized up.
