egr delete
i have a 2000 SS camaro and was just wondering if it was worth geting the egr delete. or does it just make the engine bay look a little cleaner looking? is there any gain out of this mod?

2000 and below had EGR, the only gain you will see from it is a cleaner engine bay

ok so if i get the egr delet and get headers i can get the 01 02 style headers correct? insted of geting the ones for a 2000 that has the egr fitting in the passenger header... right? will they still fit?

if yor doing a EGR delete may as well add a WS6 intake. Pick them up cheap usually off a newer car that someone bought a Fast set up for.

2 different systems. The air system connects to both exhaust manifolds and has check valves. Lines run from those to a pump that's behind the drivers side headlight.
The EGR connects to the passenger manifold only and runs through the egr valve and into the top of the intake.

actually you might get a little more flow out of your intake when you delete the egr.because you dont have that big tube sticking down right behind the throttle body butterfly.im sure that egr tube is resricting flow.remove it and your intake will flow better.dont know if you will notice it,but it will flow better.
