window help
first of all i had no clue where to post this.
ok some jerkoffs tried breaking into my car. and fled when my alarm went off. instead of breaking the window they tried to open it through the side of the window. idk its hard to explain but i need help.
So yea the little black window thing was out all the way. but now i cant get them back in. so idk has this ever happened to anyone and how can i get it back in. i tried bending the little things and it just ended up scratching the paint. so is there an easier way to put them back in? Thx in advance

Yea, you have to remove the window then there will be enough room to press the clips back into place.

Just take it to a local glass repair shop. Anyplace that replaces glass all the time will have no problem getting it back together for you. Probably won't be that much either. I paid like $75.00 to have the window pulled and the part that is riveted to the bottom of it replaced.
Sucks they messed that up. I had my old camaro broke into twice first time they broke the window second time they hammered out the key cylinder.
I preferred the window Ruined the door, although it was an excuss to buy the Formula... Went from 305 to LS1!
