power window and radio shortage
For some time now while driving the radio and power windows stop working out of nowhere, usually happens when i roll over pot holes or bumps in the road. Any ideas Ls1. what links these two failures together.

I think this is the common BCM problem. Here's a good write up on it:

While we are on the subject, will this cause the alarm to go offfor no reason when i hit the button to secure the vehicle. it usually happens minutes or seconds later.

To the OP, as mentioned above by Cutlass, it does sound like your BCM is going out on you. I had the same problem with my z when I bought it 4 years ago. I bought a new one(BCM) and put it in and haven't had a problem since. The BCM is located behind the glove box door, just FYI. Good luck solving the problem.

Mine does that too. A nice wack over the radio gets it going again

Mine also did the same thing. I repaired my BCM over 1 year ago and still works great.

imho if you guys are putting off replacing or fixing your BCM, DON"T. Especially if it's affecting your wipers. Over time if your wipers are getting stuck in the UP possition the gear box in your wiper drive unit will start to slip and eventually destroy it.. Just putting that out there..
