pm me your email. I have a 98 instructions that has the 98 wire harness upgrade instructions. It should give you some idea of what to do. IIRC the pump instructions are slightly different but to upgrade to the their harness is the same.

PM me with an email address and I'll send you what you need to get this figured out. You have several options to consider on routing and where to hook-up to power. The connection to the pump only makes sense once you see it and if you also updated the pump internals with the provided updated bulkhead connector on the top of the pump. Otherwise the hotwire kit will not connect. I just did this same install on my 2002. The '98 instructions help a little but the 2002 is different in several respects. I absolutely agree that Racetronix needs to do much, much better with providing instructions and responses to questions. Otherwise the hardware is great. I also took photos of my install that show the connection and routing points.

Would be happy to but still can't figure out how to post photos again now that we can't trust PhotoF***it. If you can work with a set of instructions in a Word or PDF format I'm game. Still don't think we can post the darn instruction sheets without Racetronix getting upset.

Let me know if you need a bit more info on the install. I have some good photos of how the wiring hooks up. As noted in the instructions link that Ed sent you to, there are significant differences between the 98 and later models. PM me with your email and I'll shoot you a bunch of photos. Getting info from Racetronix can be a pain in the butt. Which is really sad because they have good parts but don't seem to understand the value of good instructions.

Gravedigger here to dig this old thread up. By any chance do yall still have any instructions for a 99 firebird? Installing a new pump and fpwh-017 harness along with a long list of other stuff.
