When I get mine, I'm going to place it in the ash tray seeing how I don't smoke. I'll place it next to the line lock I plan on getting too.

I placed mine below the steering wheel by my knees. Wiring is as simple as it can get really. DMH holds up well under all weather compared to QTP

Just make sure you measure BEHIND the cover under the wheel. I didn't and had to drill twice because the switch wouldn't fit. I missed my 1/2"! Don't make the same mistake I did.

The only reason i am thinking of the ash try is because all my friends like to hit buttons in my car so the more hidden the button is the better haha.

Hi-Po, what did you tap into for your power source?

I believe there are drain plugs on both floor pans (driver and passenger). I know I saw the ones one the drivers side last night, so I am assuming there are 2 also on the passenger side.

Not sure if this is a good idea, but if you have a M6 you might be able to run it up there. Not through the same hole that the stick goes through, but between the rubber boot. ( I see that getting taken out of context.)

Hi-Po, what did you tap into for your power source?
I am having a hard timing remembering exactly where/what wire I tapped into originally. Pink wire under the dash somewhere. I have added quite a few extra electronics so I went a step further and did this:

I didn't like the idea of splicing into that many wires. Hope that helps some as I cant remember exactly where I tapped into originally. Preferably, you want a "key on" power source. Some say splicing into a constant power source will kill he battery from a slight motor draw. I had mine hooked up to a constant power source for a long time and experienced no problems.

Now though, Everything has a dedicated fuse with a relay controlling everything.

    Looks good hi-po...

I wonder if i can tap into my remote/accessory line that i have ran to my amp. That way the power will only be at the switch when i have the key on.

I've had mine tapped into the power antenna for several years w/o issues, on my last TA and now on my SS
