Silver- '02 WS6 Procharged 9psi
Who doesn't like Firebird/Trans Am rear end look?
I loved everything about the WS6s except for the rear end. The huge taillights and center spacer section between them just seemed weird. So I changed that. Check the attachted picture and also my cardomain page.
I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in changing their taillights and center spacer section like I did? If I get a lot of requests, we may begin to produce these in mass quantities.

Are you joking or being serious? I mean to each their own. But i think that looks terrible. Thats one of the things I love about our cars is the rear end.

Artic White- 1998 Trans Am
I love the rearend of the fourth gens. They look soooooo bad. I think the only mod I will make is black paint on the panel around the exhaust.
Do what you want, though. It's your car and whatever floats your boat!98 TA LS1/M6........79 Formula 400/TH400

dont completly bash the guy for doing somthing diffrent.
as for my oppinion the fit in the picture isnt the best and it would probly look better with diffrent sized circles. ( i mean this as constructive critizism not bashing)
and as far as would i buy one if i had a pontiac instead of a camaro

Not bashing.
Stating an opinion.
I don't like it.
He's the one looking for opinions.
So far, majority rules in favor of 'NOT' liking it.

i just don't like that look, i think if you put the bullets hole stickers aroung the circles it might looks sweet.

i dont like it either... i like the 4th gen TA rears personally.. esp my last one
but mass produce what? all you need to do is get eight circles cut out of vinyl.... stick them on the taillights... sand everywhere.... spray the paint.... peel decals off and clear coat....
sand the center peice... stick a TA rear decal on there.... sand.... paint... peel vinyl.... clear coat... done...
did this to my last truck
except i drew the design... cut out of paper then sketched it onto the taillights and used masking tape
not worth it IMO.Last edited by EVL LS1; 02-10-2006 at 02:55 AM.

Its different yes, but still looks bad. the only thing i wish the TA had is a bumper for centered exhaust like the SS.

Black +Green Ghost Flames- 1999 Trans Am
Hey Topgun1851...I praise you on the being different, I know that's what I'm about to some extent. That would definitely catch my attn. if I saw you go by on the road, but to answer your question about wether or not I would buy that for my car...certainly not. Maybe all it needs is some more design time...different size circles or maybe different shapes...Anyways, A for Effort!

I showed my wife the pic and we both started laughing... I haven't had a good laugh like that in awhile.

A '79 Trans am rear end has got to be one of the nicest rear ends out there. It's awsome when people smoke their taillights on 4th gen t/a's-not too black but just enough.
