I hate poser ss and ws6s
Nothing against getting an aftermarket ss or ws6 hood, but please dont go around saying you have an ss or ws6 and put fake badges on it if its really not one. What really ticks me off is guys with V6 camaros and firebirds that actually put these hoods and badges on their cars, I mean really guys wtf is this crap. I dont mind them because they look great, but please dont lie and put badges and stuff like that on your car if its not, if you aint got the scratch save up for that beyatch and please dont pose.

No Joke
I think it's quite funny when a V6 is running around as a poser. Its pretty cool pulling up next to one and seeing an SS with a single exhaust pipe coming out the back and having no V8 rumble. I always roll down the window and spark a very humorous conversation. They don't like it too much though when you point and laugh.

Agreed on the badges part. People should not make there car out to be somehting it isn't. Like when you see Benzes with the AMG badges that arent real AMG's..come on...
Anyways as far as hood go poeple can put whatever they want...

I did it the other way. I took all my badges off. Twice I got mistaken for a V6 in a parking lot.

What the hell does this have to do with kill stories. Didn't we have a forum like this a couple weeks ago on the Firebird forums. In the end it boils down to ,its your car and do as you wish.

I put a WS7 badge on my car for that very reason... although my car is a real TA, not a firebird.

Not trying to start an argument, but.......wait, ya I am!!
This thread topic is cool, but the original post is stupid.
It is not a kill story at all. It's an upgrades story.
Anyway.... Some people were not lucky enough to get the top of the line model car or truck, but they still want there automobile to look its best.
Just because you weren't born a stud, doesn't mean you shouldn't work out and better yourself.
As long as people don't lie and say it's a real ws6 or ss when asked, I say go ahead and put on all the badges and hoods and wheels on your ride, which you paid for with your money.
If I want to turn my escort into an escort GT, with a supra wing and 20 inch wheels, it's my buisness, so I'll do what I like, Got it?

Silver- 99 Z28 Camaro
To be honest, I would be a lil' iffy had I saw a v6 Firebird or Camaro with hood, badge, spoiler, ect. I see NOTHING wrong with putting ANY of that on a V8 F-body. preston1980 is right, and I agree :P

I see cars like this all the time around here, there's a red vert with an SS badge in the middle of the back, and they're upside down on the fenders. Not to mention he has the stock hood and exhaust. I felt the need to write a note to him explaining how the entire camaro community was disappointed in him.
On the flip, I've replaced my emblems with 67/69 emblems, and the car is about to get a 2nd set of mufflers (that'll equal 4), so I'm looking forward to an import pulling up next to me and revving...following by my flip of the dual cutouts and a lot of embarassment. Ah, and just to answer the question before it's asked, I just moved into a new townhouse and I'm already angering the retired neighbors, so I figure I'd rather quite the beast down then deal with disgruntled oldies again. She's baaaaaccccck...

i bought a base TA because that was all i could afford at the time.... i bought a GM WS6 hood, GM WS6 Wheels, replaced the shifter, intake, cat back.. so besides the suspension (which no one could tell the diff anyway, and i plan to do soon) the car is identical to a WS6... Fuckin rights i put a WS6 badge on it
when asked i say it is a clone... but who the fuck cares if it has the badge or not if it looks identical and performs identical?

Pewter- 1999 Camaro
I have a ss hood and spoiler on my V6 but I also have RS badges on it im not trying to act like I have a real SS just like the look im also about to get hockey stripes with 3800 writing on it so everyone knows its a v6. But once I add my supercharger and a few other planned performance mods I will be about as fast as one. I actually want people to know its a V6 so when I get all my mods done people wont belive how fast my V6 is and will underestimate it.

i agree with Ed...the only thing on my car is the Bird imprint in the liscense plate and my driver headlight says PONTIAC...thats it....it dont look like a Ram Air...dont sound like it...and def got rid of that poor excuse for downforce that GM called a spoiler...someone asked me if i had a V6 the other day...I did exactly what ProwlerZ said...flipped open the cutouts...turn off the TCS and left lots of smoke and rocks as gifts...

09 EclipseGT 75 Chevy 4x4- 2001 Trans-Am 13 F-XT
I was thinking of putting 3.4L V6 badges on mine for a little fun and putting the full plate in Borla and the stock 16" wheels on for awhile. The ricers around here wouldn't know what hit them!
