Thunder racing cheater cam
Hey everyone, I have a question for you all. does anyone have Thunder racing cheater cam and is using it. Im thinking of getting this cam for two reasons. 1. My car is a daily driver. 2. California Emmisions. Ive herd of a T/A running this cam but have not come across a GTO with this cam. with cam, cat back, manifolds and tune car put out 365hp at wheels. I have a Knn cold air, and Slp loud mouth cat back. what due you guys think? should I get it? Or due you have better idea? Thanks

A lot of guys have had no prob. passing the sniffer with the TR224. Of course, you'd prolly need headers........which I believe shorties are ok in Cali.
Otherwise, yes, the cheater is a good cam for stock manifolds.'06 M6 GTO (Redrum)

Yeah shorties are ok as long as they have a CARB number. The TR224 also looks good, But I dont know What kind of results I would have with only shorty headers if any. I would love to run long tubes but damn Smog police...
