Blind Spot
Anybody else have problems with the huge blind spot in this car with the top up? Any solutions or suggestions? I am having a real hard time getting used to it.

Personally I like the privacy , especially with dark tinted windows . I figure hell , you got three friggin mirror's to check & see and if that ain't enough turn your head around and look if you don't trust all three mirror's . Its a small price to pay for all the advantages of a convertible . But I agree , sometimes it takes a little extra effort to make sure of whats behind you .

Not to be captain obvious, but wide angle mirrors are a must. I picked up some circular ones that rotate 360 degrees at autozone that I prefer over most. First thing I do when I get a new car is put on some wide angle mirrors.

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
your side mirrors... do they show your car ? waste of space of mirror... your car will always be there... make them view wider so that you barely move, you start seeing your car... this will minimize your blind spots and recommended setting for track use as well.
I have it like that on the street and love it.Eugenio_SS
almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

if you adjust your mirrors right, while looking in your mirror, or in your peripheral vision while turning to look in the mirror... you will be able to see everything that is there.
I love these cars cuz there is no need to shoulder check... you can see everything

Just takes some getting used to. As said having your mirrors adjusted helps. Parallel parking is tough sometimes.

It bugs me to on an entrance ramp I take everyday. My solution was to give her a little more juice so I know no one is next to me.
