keep original 10 bolt?
I am buying a 12 bolt this spring. Should I keep the 10 bolt for future in case these cars become collector cars? After owning a Chevelle I know that is important.

artic white- 1998 Pontiac Trans Am
I have everything I've changed on my car, and thats quite a bit, just in case. I also have owned 2 68 Chevelle SS's, and a 69 Suprebee, so I know what you mean.

i would def hold onto anything that you swap out for aftermarket on any trans am that you own with pontiac's future looking very weak.

don't see a big demand for 7.5 ten bolts, but like jeff said,it you have room the keep it why not.

Navy Blue Metallic- `98 Formula M6 HdTp
JMO but I would stay away from 12 bolts with M6 cars The Torque Arms have been known to warp the case and cause problems, 9" is the way to go on an M6.
As for keepin the 10bolt for use in a restoration down the road ? I don't see the upgraded rear being a detriment to the value. So sell or keep it it doesn't matter.
Bottom line any vehicle is only worth what some one else will pay for it.Craig
