Flowmaster unveiled
so when i bought my car they told me it was stock, and i'd never heard a stock trans am, so i just thought they came with a really nice exhaust. But i took it by the shop and they told me the guy before me had installed a flowmaster exhaust and just left the stock tips on it.
so- now i want to change the tips out. but can i put any tips i want on there?
i wanted to go with flowmaster but they only have single tips, and i was leanging more towards double dual. does anybody know if i could get some kind of mini ypipe and put two side by side to create a dual?

they may say European Style but I think they would look good on any car.

Well, that sucks that you found out you had a chokemaster on there.

yeah man i bought mine with a catback Flowmaster exhaust, it sounds nice and deep, i like it. BUT, i'm not goin to the track everyday either. single tips look great too, mines got straight singles, jus make sure whatever length tip you get its pretty long so that you dont have that shitty lookin pipe welded up to a chrome tip showing...i welded new tips on my camaro that were like 4-5 inches long and u could still see 'em...

Do you have a link to a muffler comparison ? I've always heard that Flowmaster did not flow as well as some of the other mufflers but I've not been able to find any hard data. I have a flowmaster and love the way it sounds and I have no complaints about performance. BTW I went with Z28 tips because I like the way they look on a TA.Last edited by Tony180a; 04-11-2007 at 07:10 AM. Reason: adding picture

Youre gonna have to do a search. There are people on here that have comparing dyno charts.
It seems the only thing they are good for is sound. And as far as getting a different catback, borla to me is just too much money. Hooker or Magnaflow would be much better choices.
