Aftermarket hood?
http://images.craigslist.org/3k73m23...7a7dbb11b4.jpg
looking into buying a trans am but it has a funny hood on it and was wondering if anyone likes it and about how much a hood like this costs.
I personally don't like it but others may feel different

That hood is hideous, and that guy probably just bought the scoops at auto zone and glue it together or something like that, but if you are getting a good price buy it and just get a stock hood for like 50 dollars!

Sunset Orange Metalic- 2001 Camaro SS
You tell me i think its nice but the mileage is at around 150,000 which is very high in my opinion. Plus the car is not a factory color, the guy said it is a lambo orange color which bugs me but overall the rest looks nice. I'm looking for a buy, fix, use a little, and sell kind of deals just to keep me busy. I was also thinking of a ram air hood if it wasn't too costly.

Black- RIP S4 06Tbss
Im pretty sure the only person who is going to like that hood is the guy who put it on the car. Based on looks my guess is it will be a money pit and you should just save an extra 5k and get one that will cost you less then 5k to keep running if that makes sense but thats your call. That hood needs to be set on fire imo.

Well a aftermarket Ram air hood is $270 and aaftermarket plain hood is $170 at Certi Fit which is a warehouse body shops use for parts. As far as a bumper you could repair it depending on how bad or source one from a junkyard. As far as the color I would go for a complete repaint. it may look good on a lambo but can't say the same about how it looks on a TA.
