Light Pewter Metallic- 2001 Camaro SS
What's My Car Worth
Thinking about buying and 06-07 Z06 so obviously something is going to have to go.
2001 Camaro SS M6 with 72,750 miles and in pretty dang good condition. Paint is in good condition with a couple marks, as well as a few rock chips on the hood/bumper. The interior is basically flawless. The car is basically stock with a few minor changes here and there. I would probably take the wheels off the car and sell them separately to get more money out of them. Any thoughts or opinions?

Bright Rally Red- 2001 Chevy Camaro Z28
Without knowing the particulars of your car, it's hard to say exactly what it's worth. Your best bet is to check Kelly Blue Book or NADA to see what it's worth.
Edit: Based on the info provided, I came up with a price of $11,325. That's from NADA.

Thanks! I didn't list the particulars because I know they won't have much of an effect on the value of the car. I get $11,525 but am not sure if I should list it higher or lower.
Here's a thread that will provide some more details http://www.ls1.com/forums/content/%2...%2A%2A%2A-235/2012 Regal GS

I didn't enter the exact mileage that you listed, so that may have skewed the numbers some. I say start at $12,5k or more to give buyers some room for negotiation. I also think you'll do better selling the wheels separately as opposed to selling them with the car. Also check KBB and see what you come up with.

navy blue- 2002 camaro ss
What a very nice car looks very clean plus the cme really sets it apart from other cars. The problem is everyone is trying to sell their 4th gen camaros because they want the new one. The market is flooded with these cars. If you are lucky and patient you mite be able to get 8 to 9 grand. Older cars are just so hard to get financing plus the economy doesnt help either. Good luck.

If you list it for 12k+, that would be on the very high end. Most LS1's with your mileage and year are listed around 10k. The economy is pretty shitty and people just aren't paying what they used to for things. I got my '98 z28 with 80k miles 2 years ago for $6200. Not saying yours should go that low, but if you listed for $9000 you'd probably have a few offers and it may eventually sell for $10k.

It's a tough time to sell a 4th gen. The area you live will have an affect too. I'd suggest as others have, get a reasonable book value, list the car a little higher for wiggle room, then sit and wait. Could be a long wait, and it depends on how bad you want to sell. Low price will move faster, high price will drag the process out.
An easier and faster way is to find your vette on a used lot and just trade the camaro in. You don't get as much for the car, but you also won't have to deal with tire kickers either, which can also be a pain.
