metallic blue- 2000 Z28
LS1 Z28s value compared to NADA ???
Thinkining of selling my Z28.
I would guess since no Z28 have been made since 2003,
they would hold their value pretty well.
Its a 2000 Z28, 6-speed, T-Tops, leather, metallic blue, 12 CD changer, chrome OEM wheels.
NADA says its worth $10K. Is it worth more on the market?

I would say hold on to your Z for just a bit longer. During my last visit to my local dealer he said that if they new camaro is going to be a low production, high priced car, then the value of the 4th gen camaro's are going to go up. I know you don't want to hear this but as of right now, that price sounds about right. You might be able to get a little bit more out of it due to these cars being hard to find. Best of luck

The value in my opinion and from what I have seen,,,for all cars,,,is reflected by how well cared for the car is, mileage, how it was used and whats been modified. Most of the time, a nice low mileage car that hasn't been boogered with, modified, garage kept, and mostly original, tend to bring more money than a car that has been hacked, changed, modified, driven hard etc...
I know this has a big influence on what I buy, and I would gladly pay well over what blue book value is to find such an unmolested car because they are so few and far between.
It just depends on the buyer. I am older, been around cars for 30+ years, so I tend to look for unmolested cars that are clean and well cared for. I stay away from cars owned by teenagers, modified etc...because maintainence tends to be less, more abuse, and quite frankly, some of the modifications I see just flat out scare me,,,,LOL.
No offense to the youngens here.
To give an example, I just sold my 88 Iroc,,350 TPI, with 69,000 original miles, always adult owned and garage kept, one of the nicest you would find. I advertised it for $9,500 and it sold the first day,,,,gone! Thats about $5,500 over what blue book lists the car for. But nice original 3rd gens are hard to come by, especially Irocs with L98 350 TPI's.
I would keep it personally unless it's necessary to sell. Goodluck either way. Larry.
