Z06 msrp
What are your predictions? Being that the new Z28 was priced at $75,000 I would assume that we're looking at a starting price north of 100k. It is growing on me though...
Then again...according to this article, “if you could afford the old Z06, you’ll be able to afford the new Z06.”

I'm sure it will be able to be optioned up to, and or, above 100K - I'm going to guess $89,999

After seeing the new Vette in the flesh, the rear is even more hideous than the photos.
I'm beginning to think GM purposely styled the rear to be hideous so that all the cars that are being outran by it can be forced to look at its worst angle.
From any other angle it looks great. The best looking Vette in a LONG time.

I think the rear end could have been better. Def the worst angle to look at the car from. The rest of the body is great.

I may be starting a shit storm but personally I would take the viper. 640hp is awesome and being N/A it is cooler IMO. The viper is more rare and there are many years and models of corvettes driving around. Once the snow is gone hardly a day goes by that I do not see a corvette. Vipers, I see that same one all the time but that is only because the guy lives right down the street from my work but other than that one they are few and far in between around here. Not just the new models but any year viper is rare compared to the vette.
Then there are the people who are going to say "OHHHHHHHH YEA well the z06 is faster than the viper around this track and that track by this amount of time and that amount of time." It is cool to see what cars can do on even testing grounds(same track, driver etc) but it tells us very little about how the car is in the real world and with real world drivers. No one on this forum will be able to get the kinds of times these pro drivers get out of these cars. The best driver on here will probably be seconds slower around pretty much any track.

I never see Vipers. I'm not hung up on which car is going to be the fastest and I'm also not a brand loyalist. I dislike the base C7 the same way I dislike the base C6. The Viper that I sat in at the dealership was nicer than the ZR1. I'm split between a Viper GTS and the new Z06. While I'd like to try something "new", at the same time I know nothing about Mopar in the way that we're all familiar with these cars. There's a big debate about this going on over on Corvetteforums.

I'm not getting either. My last engine build went way over budget which could have paid for a wonderful vacation and a new Burberry for a certain someone. The only new car I'll be getting is a hybrid!!!!
