I was hoping gracie would choke out hughes. I like hughes but I was rooting for the underdog.

I watched all the pre fight hype for about 3 hours today, but didn't want to spend the 40 bucks to see it. After seeing Gracie arm bar everybody to win in previous bouts, I wanted him to get pounded by Hughes soo bad.I never seen him make one move standing in 3 hours.I realize that is his style and it works well, but he was so sure he could come back and fight with the new young guys.
Yeah!!!!
Don't like that cocky bastard either.
How long did the fight last?

fucking, hughes at one point had gracie elbow bent slightly backwards. im sure that elbow is fucked in the ass, but gracie just took it and didnt tap out. it looked painful as hell, I had trouble watching the replays.
that hughes is a tank, man.

i hate bothe gracie and diego sanchez. i am glad gracie lost. i cant wait till sanchez fights someone that isnt a scrub and gets pummeled. i think hes overrated

I think UFC 61 is gonna be awesome. But I don't think it'll be for the Ortiz-Shamrock fight. Ortiz will probably win that one pretty easily. I want to see the rematch between Silvia and Arlovski. That's gonna be good. I think Arlovski gets his belt back that night.

Tito will give Shammy a beating. It prolly should be Shammy/Greasy in some sort of oldschool "legends match".
I agree with the UFC's new poster boy Dirty Sanchez being overated. I would love to see him get mtched up with Sherk, GSP, Hughs, hell even Trigg will expose him.

Well lets see. He lost to Sean Sherk 4-15-06, Joe Riggs 2-4-06 & Diego Sanchez on 11-5-05 other than that he hasn't lost in a long time, in fact his professional record is 12 & 6 so he's won twice as many as he's lost...
