stompin the go pedal!!!
How often do you guys mash the go pedal? When is it considered "beating" on your car??
I like to give half throttle to full throttle get-up-and-goes a few times a week, its not bad is it??

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Provided the engine is warmed up you shouldn't have a problem unless you over rev it. This applies to M6's and auto guys that shift for themselves. Can't understand the latter though as the PCM can be programmed to make the tranny perform how you want.
At any rate, I beat on the 02 like it was a red headed step child and it seems to like it and asks for more. On the other hand I drive the 98 easy as it's my DD.

every once in a while... not so much in the winter with the cold roads... breaking tire loose in 3rd gear can be a bit scary...

Yeah...once it is warmed up, it is on.
I actually don't drive the car all that hard, unless the video camera is present. But I built it to take abuse.

If I take it out, I usually nail it once for sure. Last time, I had the beast out, I put 95 miles on with only nailing it once in first. Like Spaz said, if I go under a bridge........my car sounds sick. But with my DD up and running, I only put on about 100 miles every two weeks
