Midnight Blue- 2000 Camaro Z28
hell f'n yeah!! midnight runs again!!!!!!!
Already posted this up on tech but i might as well post it on this site too since alot of you helped me out too...
Been working on my '00 Z for the past week and after all the issues with the new intake manifold and random problems here and there, she started up for me tonight. Will be taking her to the dyno shop on monday so i can't wait to see the results. Engine was completely stock and here's the new mods as of this week:
TEA 5.3l stage 1.5 heads, F13 cam, 96mm PP intake manifold, wilson 90mm TB, XS longtube headers, whisper lid, .040 cometic head gaskets, fluidampr harmonic balancer, poly motor mounts, 42lb ford injectors, ls2 timing chain, melling oil pump, hardened chromoly pushrods, and something else i'm probably forgetting because i'm really tired right now.
Thanks everybody for your help in this project and especially thanks to those who sold me the parts. Wish me luck on my #s...trying to get as close to 450 as possible.

humm... seems a little low, what cat back do you have? 96 mm intake? are you just going to go with a fast 90mm? they say about 22- 28 rwhp just by swapping that out over stock.

yeah the thing of it was i pulled the dyno runs with cutout open...which is right after the Y. everything is 3 inches. i have the professional products 96mm intake manifold. the graph showed the intake flowing about the same as another that only had an ls6 manifold. think that might be holding me back. i will definitely swap it as soon as i can and give it another run at the dyno.
