Funny things with your car
Tell a something funny that happend to you because of or in your car.
I'll start.
Last night me and my daughter was driving home. She said she wanted to be home by 7:22. I don't know why, but that's what she said. She's seven and female I don't try to understand her. I looked at the clock and it was 7:21 and we were pretty close to home. I thought it would be close but we might could make it. Besides she's my baby girl and I do the best I can to make her happy, and it gave me an excuse to drive faster.
We were in the process of slowing down to turn on to a different street when the comment was made. So after I turned I sped up quicker than normal. I didn't "floor it", but I gave it a good amount of gas. As soon as I did it sounded like I had hit the jackpot in a slot machine (back when they gave you coins instead of tickets). All the change in my pockets and my pocket knife came slidding out of my pocket and between the seat on to the floor. My little girl busted out laughing.

My daughter says she loves when I'm able to pick her up from school because and I quote, "I have the coolest car of all the parents."
She calls my car, "daddy's race car".

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
I had the pleasure of driving my pregnant wife 50+ miles to the hospital to deliver my youngest son.
We made the 45 minute drive in about 25-30. It was 4 am, so there was very little traffic. I stopped at 0 stoplights.
It was an awesome day, for more than one reason.

Had the TA out last weekend, top down, getting lots of looks. Wife wanted to stop in at a store. Cruise through the front of the parking lot looking for a safe space in the shade. Engine is rumbling, know people are staring at the car. Straddled a very wide speed bump and ......scrape! Shit. Don't make eye contact with staring bystanders. Nothing damaged but my ego and the loss of about a 1000 cool points.

I keep threatening to go to car shows and act like the giant gouges in the passengers side of my car are 'new' and happened at the show.

2000 Trans-Am- 2007 Silverado 2500HD LTZ
I burned out for 1 mile in a giant puddle in the back of the McDonalds parking lot when I was 16. In a '96 firebird with the zippy 3.8. I had my buddies in the car with me, their parents were in line at the drive-thru. They got banned from riding with me for a year.

I drove the Z28 to the kids marching competition last week because it gets Better mpg than the Tahoe. We're getting our stadium chairs out of the back when another kids parent says
"I didn't know you guys had a fancy car"
LoL. Fancy?
Best part was cruising at 100mph most of the way home that night cuz a tard in one of those VWs thought he could hang with me.....
.Until I took the exit and didn't make complete stop at the red light turning right.... By the time the VW passed me and the cop that had me pulled over with the bright blue lights flashing .... Told wife that he thinks I've been drinking.... Ended up scolding me about not using turn signal and not making complete stop at the vacant red light - Thanks for the Warning !Last edited by LimeNine; 09-19-2013 at 11:49 PM.

Comprable story> while working@ Chevron station as a teenager i mounted some customers old lowrider tire ( i dont know if you know what a 5.20 tire is but its those skinny lowrider type tires from back in the day) on my Monte Carlo...I laid down some water on a spot near the pumps were gas was spilled and put the little skinny tire on top of it,did a break stance and lit that puppy up...white smoke billowed out from underneath- covering the whole canopied area of the gas pumps with thick ass white smoke!! you couldnt even see!! Then a customer came in and a said he was going to tell my dad (what a snitch huh?) ..Only ONE of many escapades ive pulled..Ahh youth!!

Arctic White, red/gray- 1997 Corvette, 92 Typhoon
Driving my 96 formula when I was 18 at a local racing spot. My rear tires were bald, like shouldn't be driving this car bald. Some girls pulled up next to me and a friend and asked me to burn out. I said no thanks. That is when they started going off on me, talking shit. One of them put on her best biatch voice and asked me if "daddy would be made if he found out I did burn outs in his car". To which I replied "no but dad would be made if he found out I was doing burn outs for ugly chicks". That is when they got real mad.
