ANTI-VIRUS Software
I Bought a new computer 5 weeks ago....Came with the same bullshit Norton Antivirus they all come with. Free 30 days after registration. Well I've Never liked their software due to monthly updates and slowing down any computer.
So this weekend I brook down and bought PC-cillin at BestBuy for $39.95. That includes a years subscripction. They update every hour versus once a month. It's soo much faster!!!
I also bought Webroot's SpySweeper for $29.99.
This is the best software I ever bought!!!
Anyone else seen the benefits yet??????Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

A lot of the "performance issues" with Norton are resolved through prperly configuring the software. I usually pre set anti virus software to update every four hours. With Norton you also want to turn off network scanning, and if an item cannot be repaird then quarantine it.
SpySweeper I have lately been disabling on computers due to the severe performance hit it makes. I have several client swho have been running it and I have been letting it go but lately there have been a lot of "unexplained little problems" and when disabled SpySweeper thos problems went away and their performance came back.2002 Street ET Champion New England Dragway

Really depends on what it is your wanting to do. All the stuff there I/We test for functionality and all the sources for download are certified virus and "crap" free....so the links have been tested and we monitor them. And yes you see no ads/marketing/sponsor shit. I pay for it 100% and volunteers from around the world work it. We ( I've been in the business for 34 years) old school geeks firmly believe in freeware and Bill Gates should burn in hell. So we maintain it and keep it ad free and keep the latest stuff out there. 400,000 people a week visit there and download freeware. Lot more than anti virus and spyware removers arent they

I used trend micro and spysweeper last year and they worked great together, until i got the free upgrade for 07 on the trend micro until my subscription was up and it totally fucked up my pc so I deleted it and then couldn't find my tm 06 disc so i'm gonna go buy the 07 and give her another shot.
As for copying dvd's the easiest and best is dvd shrink.
For copying PS2 games use dvd decryptor.
