You probably wouldn't feel a difference with a shot that small. You wouldn't need anything special, the LS1 would take that all day if they even make a shot that small.

I learned something new today, I didn't know there was a 25; thanks. I could not tell you by experience, if you posted this in the nitrous section you may get better and more experienced answers. I have rode in nitrous LS1's and they are crazy. Smallest I rode with was a 250 shot....... just sick. I would say a 50 shot would put down about 35-40 hp at the tires. Enough to feel, but I am no expert.

I would say, internal wise, you don't need anything. I would recommend a window switch, a bottle heater, and maybe a nitrous mastermind, but what do I know.

I would say no, not for that shot. Bigger then 125 shot, and you may need new ones.

you will feel any size shot. And a 50 shot wont put 35 or 40 to the wheels it will put down damn near 50. I've felt a 50 shot before (contstantly in a friends car) and while its nothing like a 100+ shot you can definately feel it.

Not to argue, (I don't know the most about nitrous) but how can a 50 shot, put down 50 to the wheels with parasitic loss thru the drivetrain, it doesn't make sense.

most nitrous kits these days are rated at the wheels.
you will not need injectors for a 25 shot whether dry or wet kit.
as mentioned, you'll barely notice a 25 shot. that's worth about .25 in the quarter mile.Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

Thanks for the input. I wish I would have never gotten rid of my 125 NOS 5177 kit. Never put it on. Now I regret it.

On a 100 shot NX "WET" I got 114rwhp and 198rwtq
My buddy gets 175rwhp and 250rwtq on his 150hp "Wet" dual nozzle setup.

silver- 98 T/A ws6
Ok so if i shoot 100 dry in my 98 T/a, I shouldn't have to upgrade anything?
And what type of gains will i see in the 1/4 mile and hp and torque ratings???

My suggestion if you are going with a 100 shot or above, go with a wet system.
Will be a good idea to run are larger fuel pump. Window switch, fps switch, and bottle heater.
The post above you had a very good example of what a 100 shot con bring to these cars. Most kits these days are rated at the wheels. Although I never look at the shot too close, more the jetting. You will see some huge tq. gains with nitrous.

Going wet on anything less than 150 is a waste, unless you're thinking you may upgrade. Dry is a whole lot simpler, and definitely outweighs wet for anything in the 50-150 range. I'm spraying 175 dry on the track, and my injectors are hating me, but keeping up.
Realistically, you won't feel a 25 shot. If you are going with a push button setup, you'll talk yourself into believing that you do, and you might if it was a 50... But on a WOT switch, you won't notice anything less than a 75. I ran a 100 shot for a few weeks, and it was only noticeable in lower gears when traction was an issue. Now I run a 125 on the street, and a 175 on the track, and for all LS1 applications, I'd suggest the 125. Bone stock or modified, it's the right choice, just make sure you have things set up correct, and spend the extra buck to get the safety equipment, i.e. WOT switch, window switch, and a wideband wouldn't hurt. Enjoy! She's baaaaaccccck...
