    I couldn't find the pictures taken of this project. Perhaps the gallery has been deleted? If you could repost them TheDoc that would be much appreciated. I'm not sure how you determined the positive lead from the ground on the circuit board and I'd like to see how you soldered the resister. Also, do you know if anyone now makes a 12V LED since you posted this over 2 years ago? Thank you for the help.

    OK the pictures have been put back online... Try the link again and let me know what you think. I don't know if anyone has released a 12V LED yet, but stepping the voltage down wasn't really that big a deal. Give it a try, hopefully the pics will speak for themselves!
