You can look at it that way, 50whp or balls to the wall mentality. My mentality is probably worth as much as boost. It can make the difference between winning or losing. I'm sorry, but I just don't fear your Ls1's dudes. I know they're awesome. I know they like to breath, but I've seen to many of em run, driven a 98 Z and a heavily modded SS, and raced a few. What goes on at the track is totally different from forum bull. On the forums, you see guys having full exhaust/tunes, gears, cams, bragging about beating a Stang off the showroom floor and then brag about their car being stock. I posted 2 Ls2 kills I have in my baby, but I know once modding starts, it's who has the bread. Most of you guys are running into the large number of people that have em, but aren't true drivers. You gotta remember, there's a noticably larger population driving Stangs. More people who can't drive em. There are a number of us who can drive em to their stated 13.5 stock. A few smart mods, and we're in the 12's. I love me some GM, but I don't fear anything other than C6 ZO6's and Carrera GT's, bikes, Lambo's, etc.... Then, ima get smoked by a good margin in the 1/4. You pull up next to me in that LSx(not 7) and your not heavily modded and I'm ready go!! Specially if it were you Hammer. I would love to see you

Well, I have the

, but I can't find the CTS V timeslips.

I have even better than timeslips though. My usual 60's were 1.9's

I just threw these in there cuz it felt gooood.

I have 4.10's CAI and tune/Hi flow cats/DR's

Keep in mind you're looking at a 5880ft track with density altitudes around 8000ft. Toughest track in the country.

I ran 14.6 stock there.

Naw, seriously, be realistic. You know an LS2 GTO is a low-low 13-second car off the showroom...CTS-V possible 12's in stock trim...at sea level that is. You beat the driver not the car.

Actually if you look, the MPH are almost exact. Even if the GTO driver could launch the car, they both would run the same times making it a drivers race. Those two cars were be side by side from a roll.

Even at high altitude an LS2 can/should run quicker than that. But once again, the driver...

Who gives a fuck when you are racing 13/14 second cars? My beater commuter motorcycle is way faster and its a girls bike. LS1/3V/whatever are all relatively slow. Heck my 9 second driver really isn't that fast compared to a lot of cars out there or a stock busa or ZX14.

Just try not kill anyone driving like jerks.

yet their also relatively fast
