Mineral Grey- 2005 Mustang GT
Actually there are a few 4.6L 4V N/A running 9's
4V Naturally Aspirated 1/4 ET:
1 . Micheal Tymensky (Modular Performance) - 9.36 @ 143.12 ( 2001 COBRA 4V)
2 . Joe Hutchins - 9.96 @ 132.00 ( 1997 COBRA C4 - SHM )

Quickest and Fastest N/A Modular 4.6L 4v
9.205 @ 146.30....off the trailer
Another 9 sec run For a N/A 4v was set with FrankenModular at NMRA Atco with 281 cubic inches cast iron block.
1/4 ET - 9.63
1/4 MPH - 139.5
1/8 ET - 6.18
1/8 MPH - 111.7
here are alot on 03-04 Termies running 9's with little work

Not to be a dick, but for the second time he wasn't talking about 4Vs running 9s in general. He's talking about putting the 4V into a fox-body after my comment that they should put the GT500 motor into a fox to take advantage of lighter weights. To reword, he's responding, "Hey, aren't there already a couple 03-04 Cobra motors in fox-bodies that are running 9s with a few mods?" The answer is yes.
NA 4.6s in the 9s is nothing new. Don't remember when that record was broken, but it was a really long time ago.

GT500's are slow turds for the money. I think they look good but, I wouldn't own one for the cost. There is a guy locally that has one. He modded it with a pulley and full bolt ons package and it still can't trap higher than 119. SAD.
