    price of axle bearings in stock rear 98-02?

    2000 z28 stock rear... the axle bearings are making alot of noise on both sides from my car sitting so long... getting new ones installed... anyone know how much they run????

    make sure to get the ones from gm
    and they run about 50 bucks a piece,a little more expensive but people have used the ones from the autoparts store and ended up having to buy the ones from gm anyway because the inside diameter was too big

    how much fro wheel bearings?.. i honestly dont remember which he said axle or wheel?? and if its wheel bearings, i have an extra set of axles couldnt i just switch the axles out? or no? pardon me if im retarted.

    he is referring to the same thing im pretty sure

    they are the bearings that are at the ends of your rear axle housing,the rest of the bearings in the rear are for your posi unit and gears



    check out that gm direct because i evidentally got robbed

    no the bearings are inside the rear housing not on the axles

    Yes, you got robbed. Thats why a lot of people refer to them as stealerships, not dealerships. GMdirect is ALWAYS cheaper on parts than a dealership. You should always check there first and go to a dealership as an absolute last resort.

    well it was a mess up the car and try to fix it all in one day kinda thing and they had them here in stock,but still damn they raped me bad
