I think its a new record.....
I just bought my 98 WS6 from a company in Houston, Texas and had to drive it back to Phoenix, AZ which took me a good 15 hours and got me home at 7am. LONG DAY. But on to my kill story....
I had open road and wanted to try out the car. I got up to 150 and saw traffic up ahead so I left off and was cruising at 105 when I saw the infamous lights. Guy was pretty cool even asking me about my car and wanted to know how fast I had gotten it up to before he came along, but still gave me a ticket. As I'm pulling back onto the highway I'm getting up to 70mph, Daytime Speedlimit 75, and a new thing to me night time 65 speedlimit, and it was at night by now. As soon as I reach 70ish I see more lights!!! Another cop pulled me over saying I was going 75!!! This is less than 2 minutes after my legitimate speeding ticket. I GOT KILLED!! Can anyone beat 2 speeding tickets in under 2 minutes?? Of course after that it was speedlimit till I made it out of Texas, another 350miles
PS I feel sorry for anyone who actually lives in Texas. First time I ever saw a night time speed limit, and first time I saw a cop pull someone over for going 10mph over the limit. In california and arizona that is what you are suppost to be doing unless you are stoned.

Texas doesn't like you either. Maybe you should be happy you didn't get nailed at 150 and spend the night in jail. :-P

Hey I never said I didn't like Texas, I just feel sorry for you guys. Never heard of night time speed limits or getting pulled over for only 10over. I've been to traffic school in both california and arizona and both instructors have told us that that is the golden speed.
But if Texas really doesn't like me I guess I'll add it to the list. haha

I don't think I can ban anyone (officially or otherwise), but that would be cool!
Is this your first f-bod or flashy car in general? If so, you'll notice an increase in the amount of attention you get from the cops.

Well I had an 88 honda accord, and then a lifted 94 jeep grand cherokee. haha so even if a lifted truck qualifies as flashy, doesnt matter if I couldnt do more than 80.

Also yeah this is the car I just bought with 100k on it. Going 150 seemed like a great idea to me. Car runs in great shape and I figured I would give it a shot. I've had no problems with her and I've already put about 2000miles in 2 days on the car. Luckily my phoenix to san diego trip was copless.
