    Yea, they are actually making about 370+rwhp stock through an A5 no less. 400-410rwhp with CAI/Tune Livernois is doing tunes now.

    Livernois started a thread on LS1tech about making 400+rwhp with a CAI/Tune. There are the before and after dyno vids in there. A stock one made 383rwhp.

    ok so driver issues..i wonder how good those bolt on srt's 60' times are..i'm confused how they run very similar times..but yet a full bolt on srt8 runs slower then a stock? i would believe that the srt8's dinky 245 front and 255 out back could play a VERY big part of it.

    yea their 6.1 is a solid engine...put that thing in something other then that stupid ass heavy 300 platform ...then it would be really nasty.

    The RT's arent great at all. There are guys on 300 forums running 12.9s out of the box with SRT8 Chargers and 300's. Either way, they are hella fun for a DD and my 300 is faster than my LS1 from any speed. Go from a 70 roll even and oh dear lord the 300 pulls.

    Actually the 300 is 50-70 lighter than the Charger. The 300 is the lightest SRT8 platform. 4050-4125

    Here is a recent vid from LS1tech. 02 Z28 vs SRT8 Charger with 22's. Watch the first vid and the guy ends it with the Charger pulling and in the 2nd vid the Charger walks the 6spd LS1. I love these cars. Anyone local here in Ft. Lauderdale with a bolt on LS1? We can run and get some fun vids.

    yea i've rode in a charger srt8 and it pulls great. much better then my bird..my boss owns a charger rt..i want to run him sooo bad.

    lol, yeah im pretty sure it was an srt 8, there are a few around my part of town, even a 300 with a procharger doing 5+ to the wheels, but with my 99 and a 4k stall itook him street light to light every time, i know freeway would be a massacre but anyywas,

    my 02 m6 walks away from my buddys srt8 magnum all day long, ive beaten tons of chargers and 300's, now jeeps, i got a problem those things are down right quick, i got a buddy with one only a 75 shot it runs 7.90's in the 1/8 all night long, a lot better than my best of 8.33, which was in my stock 02 on street tires

    You have alot of posts man.

    You wouldnt have any trouble with an RT. I dont see them in the 13's very often w/o H/C.

    Well compared to F-bodies, oh yea. But I bet they are just in line with any other full size 4dr. But there are few 4 dr cars that will run 12/13's @110 and still top 175 and keep you safe and secure to boot. For $30K no less.

    From a roll I would expect 425hp to pull a basically stock LS1 - I'D Hope! From the line, though, that was nothing but insult.

    Could be driver issues but I took a trip to san diego and that place was crawlering with them and not the rt's raced about four of them again not rt's and walked them all on the freeway never lined up from a dig but on the freeway they didn't even give me a challenge. I've been beat by one out in vegas but god knows what was done to that think he walked on my almost as bad as my friends supercharged z28 did and it was loud as hell.

    Well they both spun, just like my own 300 you must leave traction control on to even leave the line since they dont make DR's in 20" yet. If he would have kept taping (funny he stopped right as you can see the Charger gaining speed ) the SRT8 would have walked right by 22's and all. Yes we are talking pretty stock cars though.

    Try leaving the line with an SRT8. It spins far more than my SS from a dig. The main reason they are tricky from a dig. Disable T/C fully and you wont hardly move, you'll just burn perfectly good tire.
