TRICKSTANG,
Suck a fat one and get rid of your piece of shit ford. Go to do a different site as well. One that doesnt say LS1, as in NOT FORD, on it. And not really all over the place as you say, just in front of your POS ford......thats all.

I would have to be some sort of IDIOT to want to go on a ford mustang website when I drive an LS1. Seriously. Why is it that its the other way around. Enough of this we respect all cars on this site............waaa waaa waaa only a wus stang owner would come on a GM LS1 site, makes no sense

Supra is not a V6, its an I6.
Also, check this out, Justin Starkey's V6 Mustang. Dont get me wrong, I cant stand Mustangs, but damn.
Justin's TT 00 Mustang V6 runs 10.9@127 with a totally stock 3.8L engine making 450RWHP at 17psi:

dude! get a clue, its a free world and they can come on here, there are so many people on here that drive fords or any other car for that matter. you are the reason people think f-body owners are dicks, these terminators on here you are referring to would waste your ass in a race. it takes around a full bolt on ls1 to hang next to a stock 03-04 cobra. i have yet to see a stock termy...
also, you compare the build quality of 05+ mustang and it is loads better than that of our f-bodys. our cars are built out of cheap plastic with minimal options. and BTW an 05+ mustang gt is a drivers race for an ls1. stock for stock

I think what a lot of people are missing is era to era comparisons. The Grand National, or even the 89 pace car Trans Am with the GN engine were built in the 80s. When most f-bodies couldnt pull off 200rwhp, and be lucky to get into the low 15s with an average driver. Secondly you are comparing a 1998 LS1 to a new Mustang with a supercharger. Just imagine if GM had continued developing the f-body into the current LSx engines, without a supercharger. Yeah there is the cubic inches argument, but lets face it, Ford could have upped the CI instead of throwing a S/C on there.
Now compare the 80s fox bodies to the 80s f-bodies.
OK I hate Mustangs with a passion, but I think this is a fair analysis. To the general public, non enthusiasts, the argument goes Z28 to Mustang GT. You know the magazine article warriors.
Dont get me wrong, I am not bashing Mustangs, but lets try to compare apples to apples. There are some pretty fast Mustangs out there.

Black on Black- 2000 Trans Am M6
Hey, I'll always own a Trans Am but I wouldnt care one bit to have a Mach 1 or a terminator cobra sittin in the garage right beside it, and i would say a lot of guys on here would agree.
