Yeah I've had sony, kenwood, pioneer, and alpine. Alpine has been the best so far, I have 2 500 watt apline type Rs in a subthump ttop box with a 1000 watt Alpine amp and a 60x4 alpine head unit with the factory monsoons and I love it, btw I don't listen to rap either, but I have put some in and holy shit it makes everything in my z dance.

Ive also had my alpine since 2004, used grad money to buy it with the tilt face b/c the sun kept shining on the face and i couldnt see it. My deck has been through 2 accidents both vehicles were totaled (not my fault) and yes one of them was my z . Total the deck has been in 4 vehicles and I have had absolutely no problems with it. I'd say alpine is on the top of my book for head units.
