    Resonator Replacement on Loudmouth

I want to replace the resonator on my Loudmouth with a Bullet style muffler, and I found a few in summit that should work, Dynomax, Dynatech, and Borla all make bullet style mufflers that should fit where the original resonator was. My question is what hve you guys used and like. I know this has been asked/discussed before but my search through the archive was unsucessful. I like the Dynomax Ultra Flow round muffler its compact, and looks to be the most muffler like out of the group. I don't want to cork up my loudmouth, I just want to eliminate as much of the interior droan as possible without castrating my Loudmouth. any info/iput would be greatly appreciated.

If You Have An Slp Catalog, They Have A Loudmouth2 Resonator That Is Quieter Than The Original. I Dont Think Its Been Out Too Long Though,so It May Be Hard To Find Someone Who Has It To Get An Opinion

I would just run a 24" Summit Glasspack. That will smooth it out without adding restriction. -Tim

i recently had the loudmouth 2 put on my 2000 ss. I love it, it sounds unbelievable. ITs just the right loudness with an extremely deep tone. Sounds mean! i love it and highly reccomend it.

i have replaced my resonator with the loudmouth 2 muffler and I think that it sounds alot better. you can buy just the loudmouth muffler for 100$ oon lmperfermance.com and that will convert it to the loudmouth 2

Thanks, I'll check out the Loudmouth 2 setup, I love it, but inside I don;t love it anymore, and I'd hate to by a new system all together. But thanks again for the input.

In ya'll's opinion is the LM2 quiet enough (under low rpms and light excelleration) for a toddler?

Sleeper, once you get it, report back. I'd love to keep the flow and mean sound of my car while removing the drone. If it can be done, it would be the perfect sound/performance for an LS1
