YELLOW 510hp Ls1- 2006 FUNCO SANDRAIL
Exploded view
I am looking for a exploded view
of a 2004 5.7 ls1 engine.
Would like to have some idea
of what I'm getting into before
I start my teardown.
Thanks for any/all help
in advance

Hey Sarge,
I apreciate the effort it took to get
a exploded view of your motor
for me, But that is a little more exploded
than I need.
Thanks Roy

Wow, nice. I've never seen an exploded engine like that before. Is that hole from a piston rod?

That is what your motor looks like when it swallows a valve.

Happens all the time...well not all the time...but it isn't all that uncommon...many times a motor eats a valve and because the rod goes through the block folks think it was the rod....nope...ate the valve first....busted the piston....threw the rod ....
