Z/28 vs srt-4
I was on my way home yesterday and passed a srt-4, YELLOW. I passed then this butt munch rides my ass. I'm like..... whatever. Well my son looks back and said they were laughin. Well at the light ( one laner) he screeches his tires behind me. It turns to a 2 lane ahead - no cars all the way right. I nail it he follows. By third I had a (ahem kind) bus length on him. I slow it down for him to catch up. As he gets on me I nail it hard in second miss third try again get third stay even and pull on him. Next light - no laughin. He said " not bad for a 2.2" I said "I guess so I missed third the second run" he frowned and I made a left. Nice for a 4 banger but not in LS1 league by any stretch. The first run was from about 20 mph to 110.

Yea, those little cars are fast for what they have but just don't compare to true All-American muscle

nice kill man...theres a guy around here with a MODDED srt4 puttind down close to 600whp so he says...it was built by Darryl Cox who is nationally known for building fast neons...The guys is really cocky from what I hear and said he'd race any V8 for no less than $500 or so. I'm goin after his ass when I get my car back...I could use some extra x-mas money...

What are you running against him, a blown heads/cam LS1? Don't forget they're a heck of alot lighter than a Fbody...

That Neons mod list is nice but why mod a neon. I always stand by that saying "There is no replacement for displacement." The intercooler is huge on that thing.

Those cars are gay. Just like the new Honda Civic commercial where everybody's dancing in the street around the car. Where's a drunk bus driver when you need'em.

To me in the end I don't care how fast it is, you're still driving a neon. I couldn't stand it. I love my Ram Air baby

There are a few local that are trapping in the 120s. the new GT series turbos are making these 4 cylinders fly. There are several videos floating around of a built Evo 8 destroying 600 rwhp Cobras, a few LS1s, supercharged C5 that made 644 rwhp and ran damn close with a supercharged viper. A GT-35R is a very nasty turbo on a 4 cylinder. I hope some of you don't find out the hard way.
