Racing is about more than just rwhp numbers....

    ... someday you'll realize that.

overcomming a 300lbs disadvantage and 60 rwhp is kinda hard to overcome if both are good drivers.

kinda hard to overcome nhra? 300 lbs and 60 horse is prolly close to a second in the quartermile considering both are equal drivers...cars that are a second apart arnt even close in a top end race....it would be like my car now " feeling" just as fast as my 99z that was nearly stock.........a guy i work with had a 2004 z06...100 percent stock..i drove over his house to check it out in my 99z 6 speed...borla/lid/shifter...prety much stock..he took me for a ride and i nearly creamed myself ..got back in my car and banged thru the gears ...my z felt like a station wagon...12sec car and a 13 sec car feel NOTHING ...his race was more of a high 11s z06 vs his fantastic drivin 12.5 in a roll race.....shouldnt of been nearly that close..his buddy started off in the wrong gear or somthing

can not understand where were comin from mach??????? if u were puttin down the SAME rwhp i and im sure the others would have NO argument with u barely keeping up with him......even with the same power u have a 200lb weight disadvantage.......your gearing may come close to making that up but prolly not quite......numbers just dont add buddy..thats all

That might be actually possible. But Id say it that would be the only possibility. Driver error at that speed? All the guy had to do was push a pedal to the metal.

he was in the correct gear, and he knew we were racing. after we raced we all went to a friends house to hang out.

I guess noone caught this LITTLE error... C6 Z06??? Mach vs C6 Z06??? 310hp vs 505hp... or maybe since hp doesnt matter to you (And I do "realize" how racing works...thanks), Angus66, we'll go with weight... 3,380 lbs vs 3,132 lbs. Or should we then discuss gearing or maybe even STOCK quarter times, aerodynamics, etc. Next time do your research.

I've done my research than you very much.

Here's a video of my bolt-on Mach running at the track:

    Bolt-On Mach 1 @ Cecil Dragway

Question: How many stock C6 ZO6's have run that quick?

Answer: Only ONE, and that driver was extremly skilled.
No one else has come close to matching that ET in a stock C6 ZO6.

Sorry, but the one you're thinking of went high 10's on drag radials, which is not 100% stock...

That Mach isn't even close to being "gutted".

It's got a lightweight driver seat, no passenger seat & a rear seat delete.

    Other than that the interior is 100% there - carpet/dash/interior panels/power windows/power locks/power steering/tilt/cruise/etc...

Sorry to disappoint you, but the Mach wasn't even close to being "gutted completely".

    Here's your high 10's "100 percent stock":

Definately a great pass, but adding drag radials takes a car out of the 100% stock category...

That's the car/driver I was referring to earlier BTW.
