    AMG vs 02 WS6

Well i was on my way home from work and about 2 min from my house and i was just about to turn down my street, suddenly i see/hear this amg zoom past me going down this 3 lane road, so i was like i gotta go for this so i slowly pull up next to him and lucky us.. we get a red light its a black 2door with the amg badge. idk what year tho, looked really nice. so i look over and its a guy in his late 30's or so and i noticed he had a radar detect so i knew he probably races around a lot. anyways im kinda screwed from off the line cuz i have bald ass tires, so once it goes green he gets on it pretty hard and gets about a car on me at first,as i spin 1st and a lil of 2nd, but to my surprise once i get out of the hole and going, we stayed about even with him a car ahead up until about 80 or 90, but thats when i had to slow down and make the turn. i was happy to keep up, and im still pretty newb at the stick still

If it was a coupe it sounds like a CLK. Some of the 430 CLK's had AMG badges even though they were not AMG's. There there was the 367hp CLK55 AMG. The new cars are the CLK63 AMG that make 475hp and 465lb/ft.

The badged up 430's are 275hp.

The E55 is 493hp and 516lb/ft. Those are not to be messed with unless you are packing some serious firepower.

If his E55 is a 2000 to 2003 it is the non-supercharged 367hp version. that is definately an easier target. The supercharged E55's turn low 12's in street trim.

i think i ran into one of these monday night "The badged up 430's are 275hp" it was a 2000ish c class i couldnt make out the model # but i could have sworn i saw an amg badge. anyway the story is i see this flying up from way behind me, then as he gets closer to me he slows closer to what i was go, 70ish, so i even up with him and give it a little pull then let off. i waited for him to hit it and then i got back on it again. to my suprise i pulled 3-5 cars from 70ish to 110ish i think he let off towards the end but he was on it for the most part and i was pulling! so that made me a happy man btw i've got a 93 z28 k&n cai, hooker catback, hi flow cat, vortec intake elbow, tb bypass and a jasper tranny
