Pewter- 2002 Camaro SS
Feels So Good
I had some ass in a early 90's 5.0 race me in my daily driver (99 Accord 4 cyl) a couple times and I told myself if I ever caught him out when I'm driving my 02 SS M6 I'd beat him like a drum. Sure enough I drove my SS to work and on the way home I pulled up next to him at a light. Long story short I kicked his ass 3 times in row before I turned off to go home. I haven't seen him since even though I take the same way home every day!

I know a guy with a totally stock from throttle body to oil pan with a 7.5psi turbocharger and proper injectors putting down OVER 400rwhp/rwt, to me thats pretty impressive, then again induction changes everything.

A sweet fox trunk model blew my doors off when I had 4.10's and exhaust.
He was N/A, with a 302 bored .30 over, aluminum heads, cammed, gears, weight reduction, sticky tires. He also had a demon carb on it with NO breather! Damn, he was looking for a race when he left home with it.
I got my pay back on him with a cam and stickies.Heads 'n Cammed, Moser 12, 3.73's, Weight Reduction, 13" Brembo Kit
BMR track suspension, full exhaust, the works...
412whp/394wtq 1/4 mile slip coming soon!
Gone: '01 Laser Red Cobra 3.73's/Full Bolt-ons

I think they have a big, cheap aftermarket for those 5.0's. Probably the sketchiest car to ever race.

you can buy cheap parts for any car but the after market for the 302 is huge its nice knowing that i have a chioce of 20 plus different heads to run or 20 different efi intakes i can think of off the top of my head . not to mention stroker kits, cams / blowers , turbos etc . with all those parts its easy to see way the mustang started the 10.5 tire class and still leads in it. myself i dont buy cheap shit for my mustang everything is to-p qaulity from the canfield heads to the vortech blower , scat 347 stroker kit and custom cam.. the only off brand part on my car is upr caster camber plates

TKO by 5.0
I got a little high minded in my 01' A4 WS6 and got humbled by an early 90's coupe. He left me from go and I couldn't even catch him to talk about his mods. I still approach them with respect in the Z06.

You ain't the first, and prolly not the last to get humbled by a nasty fox.
They might be getting a little old, but the design was sound. To be honest, I don't like the interiors of mustangs since the fox. Something is different, not for the better either.
If it wasn't for the fox body, mustangs might have died before the camaro.
What I would like to do is find a 93 cobra, red with gray interior, and put an 03 cobra motor in it, tremec 3650, and 4.10's. That b*tch would be SWEET!
