Pewter- 2002 Camaro SS
02 SS vs CTS-V
I pulled up next to a CTS-V in my 02 SS M6, didn't really pay any attention to him but when the lite turned green he took off like a bat outta hell so I nailed it. He had me by a car at first but I gained on him at each gear change until I had him by half a car before we hit some traffic. Closest race I've been in yet although I really don't look for races I'll go if it looks clear.

Not a lot, didn't seem like the guy couldn't shift that well or was scared to shift hard.

Usually if they get the drop on you at a light like that, it is best to let them do their thing until you come up to the next one, and try to get right beside their ass, that way there will be no surprises.
That gets my goat when they ignore your presence for a couple minutes, then take off like they were doing something.
Well, I would like for even that to happen actually. Nobody wants to play anymore. Most stangs don't even bother. I am feeling left out.
Or worse, now I get them following me, cutting people off to get behind me, just to egg me into punching it. Then the opportunity to race comes up, they turn into a gas station!Last edited by Roastem; 10-17-2006 at 04:41 AM.

I upshifted to 4th and was still pulling ahead when we backed off because of traffic.
