I disagree that you need only need a bigger motor to go faster. The fastest race cars are supercharged or turbocharged. In pro racing they have had to seperate the turbo cars form the n/a cars.

It also comes down to how much air you can move and a turbo car or supercharged car will always move more air. More air more power.

If Every Thing Equal Exept Engine Size A 350 Ci Will Come Up Short To A 400 Ci......by No Means Am I Saying A 4 Banger With Enuff Boost Wont Ever Equal A N/a Motor----but It Needs All That Boost To Even Compare----and Once The Bigger Motors Boost's Then What.....the 2.o Litre Needs To Get Larger---or Even More Boost And That Could Be Impractical
