    If you look at the plug where the disconnect is, you'll see 4 different colored wires coming into it. They should be red, tan, and I forget the other two colors. (There's a diagram of the Firebird Monsoon amp wires http://www.houston-f-body.org/tech/m...mpFirebird.htm .) You can use the front/rear fader with the speaker temporarily hooked up to each pair to be sure you're where you want to be. Just use the same set for each side.

    I think when the wires were clipped from the speaker, it was the long set. I taped the other set off to ensure they didn't short out on something.
