i think more or less its the fact that these guys are used to punking around ricers, other imports or stock V8's. hence, they think they have a fast and the furious canttouchmefast go-go racing machine and a 9" ego cock to go along with it.
i'm not saying thats the case all the time, i know there are well built imports out there that will run their balls off.

Torrid Red- 05 GTO
Im thinkin if he's willin to bet $1000 on it, he's raced others like you and possibly won. Unless he's rich and doesnt care if he loses a grand.

look man...so far you've told us he has a turbo, an intake and some "other minor shit" who told you this..his friends or your friends? have you seen the car yourself? if not or you don't know what to look for...you're not betting anything. this whole thing sums up to two possibilities:
A) he's real supid and thinks he has something real fast; when in reality the only thing fast he's running is his mouth
OR
B) he really does have something built, knows about fbodies and what they are capable of, etc. and still wants to put up $1000 against you.
around here its all the same with those guys. one dumbass told me he wanted to run me because he had a "sleeper" preylude. when i asked him what that consisted of he said and i quote "exhaust, intake and hedder"
once you find out more about the car we'll be able to tell you if this guy's a joke or not. if he honestly just has what you said and the other stuff IS "minor"...i don't think you have anything to worry about.

Honestly I want to know went down with this, my friend, the hype is on your side but be wary of the ricers, and what he could be turning with just a couple bolt-ons before the race. If you get my drift..

by the way... i love your evo...looks really clean, i'm ussually not a fan of the evos but yours looks nice. Also maybe the reason why he isn't posting is becuase he had to sell his computer to pay off that $1000 ....ahh j/k...but if he doesn't post soon, then we have to give the NSX the win (sorry i just threw up in my mouth

I wish there was more racers like you. I have not had a challenger in months now. Yesterday i was pacing a cobra on the highway. A college student with chrome letters where it says cobra on the rear bumper. Never wanted to go. But i know if i go to the local dragstrip i'll have plenty of challenges. The first time i went, i found out my clutch was toast. So i was parked looking at all the races. I had at least 5 people park next to me asking, "whos evo?". The best offer i got was an LT1 Fbody on NOS. Cant wait to go back.
