I have beaten more than one modded '03/'04 Cobra (and many stock/near-stock ones), but there are plenty faster than mid-11's so I remember that whenever I race one.

I'm looking for upper 10's on a 100-shot in the near future...

Yes, it's been on the dyno a few times to evaluate modifications & for tuning.

Last dyno was about a month ago & it made 336 rwhp & 342 rwtq on the motor (bolt-ons only).

On the 100-shot it made 431 rwhp & 474 rwtq.

This guy named Jimmy I went to high school with owns a red mach 1 now, and I had been trying to get him to race me for a couple months now. I was cruising through town Sunday afternoon, and he was heading out on a four lane road, so I pulled up beside him about 40 mph, he looks at me, then punches it. I do the same, and by the top of third I had two car lengths on him, I shifted it to fourth and he continued to lose ground. I let off about 100 or so, and he was more than a bus length back. LEFT HIS ASS. I thought those mach 1's ran harder than that?

It was stock though, vs. a modified LS1. Altogether, an UNSATISFYING KILL. Need to race one with a supercharger, especially since the TSP PRC LS6 heads should be arriving any day now to complement the cam!

They are fast. You raced a stock mach1 in your lightly modded LS1. What did you expect?

Mach 1's are actually pretty damn close to LS1 F-Bodys in terms of performance. I'd still give the edge to the LS1, but it should be close.

Yes they are stock for stock.

They are fast. You raced a stock mach1 in your lightly modded LS1. What did you expect?

Lightly modded? After I put the heads on, I will only have 3 routes to make more power, stroker (big money), blower (big money), or nitrous (small money, but will likely tear some sh*t up). But, I plan to keep it N/A, so the only thing I will have left to do is put a big stroker in it, and I ain't doin' that till the stock block f*cks up.

Like I said in an earlier post, I "thought" I would prolly kill him, but you never know, from the last time he told me it was stock, that was like 4 months ago. Who knows what he had done to it since then.
