Currently having engine work done on my lq4. Mild build, ls3 heads, ls3 intake, forged rods and pistons, .601/.601 lift 218/226 dur @ 050 112 lobe sep, and 1 7/8? longtube headers. Im kinda in a mid range build budget. Builder wants me to decide on a balancer for the motor. Not sure which way to go? Builder said i dont need an underdrive style and its being built more for streetability and daily use. Just wanted more out of the truck in the more useable rpm range. Im not racing it, just want to do more and have some fun. Am i good to just by a powerbond oe replacement or should i spend the coin on a 8? overdrive replacement? From what ive seen on summit, innovators west makes a full pulley replacement kit but its $$$$. Everything else is underdrive

Stock is fine. I used my stock F Body balancer on my 403ci LQ4 build.

Thanks for the info! I found a fluidampr setup that was in between. Extra peace of mind.
