having hard time finding used 07 GM 5.3 engine

Illegals scamming used engines on fakebook
I got the current tow vehicle stuck in mud and was a little to abusive on the engine getting her unstuck, anyway

I’ve been looking for a replacement 07 GM 5.3 engine for my current tow vehicle.
I hardly ever use fakebook but try for certain things.

Example1(20+) Marketplace - ENGINES AND TRANSMISSIONS FOR SALE !!! GOOD PRICES. | Facebook
99% of these adds are from illegals that don’t even live in US some pretend to live in US, are these scams or am I missing something here?
Example2(20+) Marketplace - New and used engines, autoparts and transmission for all brands | Facebook
This one is pretending in multiple states.
I’ve messaged a few and they won’t give out any address where I can check the engine, I’ve explained to both not interested in having a engine shipped. BC I’ll proballey receive a box of rocks.
Like when I see a$$holes selling used catalictic converters in plain site on fakebook how can anyone trust any of these scams?

I do sometimes see a individual seller even w/ a trader rating just not close enough to me yet.

Summit has crate long blocks iron blocks but not for 07, I think it’s got something to do w/ the displacement on demand, what am I missing.

First question.....how do you get stuck enough to wipe an engine out?

Second question.......at what point did you figure out you weren't getting unstuck and quit beating on it hard enough to wipe the engine out?

    I don't want to know.....asking for a friend.
