True. But we do have some positives. The north woods is fun for a few weekends of camping/ATVing, Bucks are NBA champs, Packers are pretty good, Brewers decent at times recently, University of Wisconsin Badger Football, hockey, Basketball, Volleyball is decent at times, and the Wisco economy is middle of the road. Could be worse.
But I’ve visited come “crappy” states and they all seem to have some awesomeness about them. Except as Iowa. I’ve been pretty bored with Iowa. If I was a gambler I guess I would probably enjoy Dubuque.

LQ4 replacement had rod bolt failure that cork screwed the crank journals on test drive 2013 caused me to be down another 6 months for me to go stroker. (Bonus)
Spent 3 visits to 2 different tuners trying to get tuned, found out the rear bolts on the FAST intake had lost the nuts and caused an 8" vacuum leak preventing idle and the MAP sensor somehow got crushed.
T56 blew up, wipes the input shaft and 3rd & reverse gears. Tick Performance call me impressed on how bad it was and had the shop clapped
on speaker phone when they told me - 2017
Broke my UMI Torque Arm Mount that had to be modified for the 8.8 rear at the track when running slicks - 2019
That's just the expensive shit.....last weekend I've been fixing the damn battery and alternator issues again.....
