Speaking of GM's poor duct design... if you ever need an evap core replaced, you have to pull the windshield

What kind of asshole welds the center pin on a differential? I mean it must be a special type of dickhead that does that.

What were they trying to accomplish with that? Fix the pin or Lincoln locker or what?

I signed up for motor trend on demand while at the beach this weekend to kill time when we weren't doing anything. Pretty good stuff on there and with the 30 day free trial I can probably burn through most of what I want to watch.

My 2001 Impala was the only other car I can think of that has done this to me. My 4th gen never had an issue....however, I kept Rain-X on it all the time, that may be the difference. I picked some up the other day that has anti-fog properties, we'll see if that helps.

No idea....I was needing some LS gen rear brake mounting brackets and on this one car After I finally get the damn bolt pin it wasn't moving at all. So I for some reason rotate the diff and that's when I found it welded.

So damn pissed because I wasted 30-40 mins on it while in the rain. And to top it all off it was on a V6 FB.

If I had a grinder it would not have been an issue, but the yard does not allow that stuff.

Lol. Been there done that fighting with getting parts off of something out in a junk yard. All the while watching your tools because of some of the "interesting" people you encounter at those places.

Yeah I try not to show my tool box and also have someone else with me. Even if it's my daughter she can at least let me know if someone comes up on me while I'm under a car or such. I also like to have that 2nd person in case a vehicle "shifts" and I get pinned. I'm just paranoid about that. I never trust a junkyard weld.

What are you talking about?!?!! They always stack cars on the nicest of wheels. No way they'd ever fall down.

3.25% excise tax on a $37k car did most of the damage... Minus 10% for a discount my wife gets for being Cherokee. If we lived on Cherokee land it would have been half...
