lol... cause you know everyone in both states and every interaction between them and police?

I live in an Open carry state... a state that before 2011 was open carry only... and I live in the most populated county in the state. I personally have had interactions with police over carrying a side arm. I know multiple people who have. There are literally hundreds of videos on youtube of people being confronted by police while legally open carrying all over the country.

Many of the internet videos I see are 2nd Am auditors looking for confrontations too. Some are legit but people are stopped and hassled all the time for many reasons non firearm related. Happened to me lots of times in my younger days. Sorry but I just don't see it as a problem. Us subjects in Md would be elated to have open carry menawhile you're more than eager to have less freedom.

Open carry just leads to an overworked police force in urban areas. As they have to respond to the hundreds of calls from worried mothers when they see a person walking down the street with a sidearm.

Not were i live bud, theres two cops no red lights country store closes at 8:00pm i got no neighbors and i can shoot from the porch lol

How am I eager to have less freedom? I said I support open carry and conceal and carry but open carry doesn't work well in populated areas. So I don't advocate for open carry alone. Leads to too much hassle to law abiding citizens. Which is why I prefer conceal. I'm a busy person with 4 kids... don't have time set aside everyday to have interactions with police.

I enjoy both. I spend a lot of time in the woods and on lakes/rivers in WI. But I have always enjoyed the city as well. I have spent a lot of time in both the city/suburbs and the rural/woods. That's why I'm glad I can conceal or open carry.
