Haha, I picked up a few patch plugs and got it fixed last night. that patch didn't hardly stick to the tire, I was able to pull it off with my fingers. I hope to be home by 6:30 Sunday night. usually racing starts around noon.

I damn near almost just had my car totalled...traffic came to a stop from like 65mph, guy behind me and the guy behind him couldn't stop...I dumped the clutch, shot onto the shoulder and they stopped where the front of my car was...happened in a matter of seconds.

Stopped to do a quick job along the road today and was kind of keeping a eye on traffic for my guys and watched this young man ride by on his bike and then noticed something going on just below us as we approached it was the same bike smashed into the side of a car and the young man laying across the road in someone's yard. He was in traffic and someone just pulled right in front of him. He appeared to be fine as he was back up on his feet as medical arrived. Very lucky from the looks of the car and especially his bike.

One of my dad's co-workers died in front of him last week. Works for the Oklahoma Dept of Transportation. They mow, weeedeat, pick up trash, ice/salt roads, patch roads, etc. Anyway, they were stopped along the highway, whole crew, drunk driver, right after lunch time, takes out my dad's co-worker 10 feet from my dad. My dad is devastated.

We lost 87 workers since 1977, seems like a long time but tell me how many other businesses equal that number of lost in PA! Sometimes really scary out there.

Greetings from Upper Marlboro. Got in around 4:00 yesterday. Had some fairly heavy traffic from 695 on down. Hit the Tanger outlets and Johnny Rockets last night.

Plan today is to hit the Air & Space Museum over in Chantilly, and then head down to Fort Washington. Last night we were down in National Harbor. Way too many people and cars down here.

Wow Hot here today, really Humid. Half day left for tomorrow, heading up to Penn State to cheer on our High School Girls Softball Team as they are playing for a State Championship.

Ended our day with a trip to Mt. Vernon (very cool even though it was very hot) and some damn good BBQ.

It be Hot here also, just got back from Penn State our H.S. Girls played for State softball championship and unfortunately lost. We stopped at LongHorn steakhouse on the way home and it was delicious
